New Administrative Assistant In Derby City Hall

DERBY — Mayor Richard Dziekan’s office has a new administrative assistant, city government announced July 13.

John Board replaces Pam Gagliardi, who was employed in the role since Dziekan took office in 2017.

Board is an Eagle Scout who graduated last year from Western Connecticut State University.

John has worked in municipal government for the last five years under First Selectwoman Pat Llodra (Newtown) and Mayor Erin Stewart (New Britain),” according to a prepared statement from city government. Additionally, he has served on numerous boards and commissions around the state and advocated on behalf of municipalities, education, and civil rights policy at the General Assembly.”

The position pays $55,652 annually.
