Police Ask For Help On Anniversary Of Shelton Teen’s Shooting

State police marked the one-year anniversary of a 15-year-old Shelton boy’s unsolved killing by pleading for help from the public to break the case.

Kristjan Ndoj was shot on the evening of March 15, 2014 in the driveway of an Agawam Trail home. He was visiting friends in the area at the time.

He died at Bridgeport Hospital five days later.

A popular sophomore at Shelton High School, Kristjan was remembered by friends and family as an intelligent, inquisitive, respectful boy, always willing to help others.

Police pursued several leads in the days following the shooting, but no arrests have been made in the case.

Detectives from the state police Central District Major Crime Squad eventually took over the investigation, per a request from Shelton Police Chief Joel Hurliman.

A $50,000 reward in the case was announced last July.

In a statement March 13, state cops said both agencies have continued to follow all leads and all information in this homicide investigation. Detectives have interviewed witnesses and physical and forensic evidence has been examined.”

They asked that anyone who has any information that may assist the investigation to contact them at 1 – 800-842‑0200 or 860 – 685-8190.

All calls will be kept confidential.
