Two Ansonia Schools Open For Tours Nov. 2

ANSONIA An education advocacy group is teaming with the school district to provide tours of two city schools Friday (Nov. 2).

A tour of Mead School, 75 Ford St., will start at 10:30 a.m. and end at noon.

A tour of Ansonia Middle School, 115 Howard Ave., will run from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

In a press release, the group, The Friends of Ansonia Education, invited the general public, elected officials, and local candidates for office to attend.

“The best way to grasp the challenges the schools are facing right now is to witness these conditions firsthand,” the press release said. “Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with administrators and teachers about the current circumstances and discuss solutions.
