A meeting of Ansonia’s west side block watch is scheduled for Thursday at the Fountain Hose Company, 191 Howard Ave., at 6:30 p.m.
According to an email, Officer Brendan Nelson will be introduced as the Ansonia police’s new block watch liaison.
Past topics of discussion have included crime, car theft, blight issues, roaming dogs, graffiti, holiday and vacation safety tips, noise ordinances, curfews in city parks, motor vehicle and traffic violations, gang and drug activity.
