ANSONIA — Police are trying to find out who fired a weapon on Liberty Street late Saturday.
No injuries were reported.
Lt. Patrick Lynch said police received a report of shots fired late Saturday near the intersection of Liberty and Fifth streets.
“Thankfully no people were hit just cars and a house. The case is under investigation and I don’t have more information at this time to release,” Lynch said in an email.
A person commenting on an Ansonia community Facebook page remarked the incident was a drive-by shooting.
