For the past few years Ansonia resident Ricky Baxter has converted his family’s Ford Street home into “Eerie Manor” every Halloween.
The cemetery-theme display serves a double purpose: it amuses trick-or-treaters who stop by and functions as a collection point for a food drive to benefit Spooner House, the Shelton-based shelter.

This year Spooner House will have a table set up in Ricky’s driveway — at 125 Ford St. — on Halloween as well, Ricky said.
