SHELTON – The Chabad Jewish Center of Shelton is hosting a video presentation and a question and answer session with Irene Shavit, an Israeli woman who survived the Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Kibbutz Kfar.
The lecture and presentation is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26. The location is being shared with people who RSVP. To do so, visit this website.
“It’s an honor for us to host Irene and we’re so fortunate that she has agreed to come to Shelton in person to share her story,” Rabbi Shneur Brook said in a press release. “With all the confusing messages, it’s important for our communities to hear the first-hand account of someone who personally experienced the horrors of Oct. 7.”
