Two Christian Heritage School eighth grade students received honors at the 66th Annual Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair, held March 11 – 15 at Quinnipiac University.
Cristian Piraneque, of Oxford, received the Dominion Nuclear, and Connecticut Physical Sciences Finalist Awards for 8th Grade, and the Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair Medallion and Acrylic Award. The topic of his project was Viscosity and Melting Profile of Dairy and Non-Dairy Ice-Cream and the Development of Appealing Ice-Cream for Lactose-Intolerant Individuals.
Judah Immanuel, of Woodbridge, received the Dominion Nuclear, and Connecticut Physical Sciences Finalist Awards for 8th Grade, and the Connecticut Science and Engineering Fair Medallion and Acrylic Award. The topic of Judah’s project was Fabrication and testing of the power output of a solid state tesla coil.
