The Derby Police Department has been honored by the State of Connecticut Police Officer Standards and Training Council (POSTC) with receiving the State Tier I Accreditation award. The accreditation program is designed to “enhance professionalism of Connecticut Law Enforcement Agencies through compliance with contemporary, internationally recognized standards of excellence.”
This achievement is a testament to our commitment to professionalism. We will strive for continued excellence and to seek further opportunities to better serve and protect citizens of Derby. Thank you to our Accreditation Consultant Andretta Swift of Badge 6 Consulting.
