On Oct. 14, Teamsters Local 1150, in affiliation with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters for Sikorsky employees, formally endorsed Rich Dziekan in his bid for mayor of Derby, home of many Sikorsky employees.
“As a veteran, I am honored to receive this endorsement and would like to give a special thanks to Secretary Treasurer and Principal Officer Rocco Calo, Tom Cole (union steward and fellow Derby resident), the entire committee and its members of the Local 1150 for their support,” Dziekan said in a prepared statement.
