SEYMOUR — Please take a minute to nominate someone you feel is deserving of a Seymour District Award including the David A. Brumer Excellence in Education Award, the John J. Gallagher Memorial Award, the Vicentena Kobasa Excellence in Teaching Award, the Thomas J. Petruny Memorial Education and Environment Award and the Karen R. Stanek “Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat” Award.
Nominations will be accepted online from March 25, 2024 to April 19, 2024.

The Annual Seymour Teacher of the Year nominations will be open on this website from March 25, 2024 through April 5, 2024. Please nominate a Seymour teacher who you would like to honor. Any staff member, parent, student or community member can submit a nomination for the Seymour Teacher of the Year 2024 – 25. Nominees should be teachers with at least five full years of experience in Seymour and work directly with students at least 50% of the time and are currently working under a Connecticut certification with a teaching endorsement or a vocational teaching endorsement.
Former Seymour Teachers of the Year cannot be nominated again.
