Joseph William Sullivano

Joseph William Sullivano, aged 54, of Shelton, CT, passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer on October 18, 2024. Born in Bridgeport on November 17, 1969 to his beloved parents Joseph and Patricia (Pekar) Sullivano. 

Joe attended St. Joseph High School, class of 1987. He continued his education and attended the University of Bridgeport. Joe dedicated his professional career to Video Production Associates Inc. where he managed the department of CD and DVD development and duplication. Joe loved working for the family business.

Joe is predeceased by his cherished grandparents, Albert and Adeline Pekar and Joseph and Margaret Sullivano. In addition to his beloved parents, he will be missed dearly by his devoted sister, Catherine (Sullivano) Murray and her husband Eric of Monroe, his nieces and nephew, Erica Murray of Milford, Samantha (Murray) Youd and her husband Joel of Monroe and Maxwell Murray and his fiancé Vanessa Burgess of Milford; and leaves behind a great-niece, Isabelle. 

His spirit was filled with warmth and joy and his love for music touched everyone around him. Joe was a talented guitarist. He also thoroughly enjoyed day trading in the stock market. Alongside his passion for music, Joe had a green thumb and loved to be outside landscaping and gardening. Joe loved spending time with family. He will always be missed and remembered in the hearts of his beloved family. 

A Mass of Christian Burial, meeting directly at church, will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 26, 2024, in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton, CT. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
