A “Meet the Candidates” event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 25 in the Ansonia High School auditorium.
The high school is located at 20 Pulaski Highway.
The event, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the Ansonia Federation of Teachers.
The Democratic party’s nominee for mayor, Tarek Raslan, is expected to attend.
Two-term Republican incumbent David Cassetti is not expected to be at the event.
The two candidates had been scheduled to debate at the high school Oct. 26, but those plans unraveled last week.

Candidates for Aldermen and Board of Education will also be allowed to introduce themselves.
Election Day is Nov. 7.
