The Oxford Economic Development Commission will host a Residents’ Forum today, Oct. 13, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Town Hall.
Light refreshments will be served.
The program will provide Oxford residents with an overview and update on the town’s endeavors to attract and maintain a prosperous climate for business that contributes to operating revenue and helps keep residents’ taxes down.
All are welcome. The event is free.
Commission Chairman Robert Saracino will open the forum. An overview of key projects being developed in town will be presented by Economic Development Director Herman Schuler.
Also attending to give a brief overview of their vision for economic development are the two candidates for First Selectman, Joseph Calabrese and George Temple.
There will be time allotted for questions and answers as well as opportunity to meet and greet the commissioners and candidates.
