Knowing the apps and websites being used can empower parents to filter what is appropriate for any given age.
Attached is the flyer for a 50 minute Cyber Safety Seminar taking place on Thursday March 27th, at 7:30 p.m. at Oxford Town Hall Meeting Room.
Oxford Internet Safety Seminar
Technical investigators will do a 20 minute live demo of social media websites, apps, and blogs to show the current culture of the internet.
Following the demo will be a 30 minute panel discussion (Oxford School District Administration, Counselors, Local Law Enforcement Administration, and State’s Attorneys) to answer any questions you might have about current topics.
Parents will also receive a handout with more information and resources to help protect their children.
For less than one hour of your time you will have resources to better prepare you for the digital age.
