
A Derby police car collided with another vehicle Wednesday, sending a civilian to the hospital.
The person’s injuries were described as “non life-threatening.”
The crash happened at 2:30 p.m., on Roosevelt Drive near Camptown Road, according to information supplied by Derby Police Department Deputy Chief Scott Todd.
The Derby police officer was attempting to make a motor vehicle stop just before the crash happened.
The officer was not injured.
More information is expected Thursday.
The road was closed as Derby and state police investigated.
