Ryan Davies is charged with risk of injury to a minor and second-degree breach of peace. He’s free on a $5,000 bond pending an Aug. 16 court date in Superior Court in Derby.
“Police do not believe this was a one-time incident and are looking into the possibility that Davies has done this to other people,” Shelton police said in a prepared statement.
The incident allegedly happened inside the Bridgeport Avenue Walmart June 22. The 10-year-old girl was a customer there and does not know Davies, police said.
Davies turned himself in Aug. 2 after learning there was a warrant for his arrest. The warrant was not available in court.
