Report: Student May Have Taken LSD In Oxford

A student at Oxford High School may have had an adverse reaction” after smoking marijuana and ingesting LSD, Oxford Patch is reporting.

Police wouldn’t comment because they classified it as a medical call. The high school principal didn’t return a call for comment.

Oxford Ambulance official Jerry Schwab confirmed an ambulance was sent to the school for a drug-related incident and that a student was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Earlier this month Schwab wrote a letter to the Oxford First Selectman saying a greater police presence is needed at the high school. Click here for that story.
