A Shelton man Monday was arrested on firearms charges, two months after police searched his home in a drug raid.
Police said a .38-caliber revolver found during the search on Sept. 2 turned out to be stolen.
So they got a warrant, and Monday arrested Juan Ramirez, 23, of 70 Cornell St., for theft of a firearm and criminal possession of a firearm, according to a statement released Monday afternoon.
Ramirez had not been arrested during the initial raid.
But two other people at the home had been charged on Sept. 2.
In September, police charged Josue Ramirez, 20, with illegal possession of narcotics, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.
Police said they found 46 ecstasy pills and 2 ounces of marijuana, packaged for sale, at the home on Sept. 2.
Police in September also arrested Abimael Ramirez, 22, of Cornell Street for allegedly interfering with an officer. Abimael Ramirez allegedly did not comply with officers while police were conducting a search warrant at the home.
Juan Ramirez, who was charged Monday on firearms offenses, was released on $2.500 bond and is scheduled to appear at Superior Court in Derby on Nov. 21.
