Three winners and three runners-up in a Perry Hill School essay contest will be recognized Tuesday (March 27).
The ceremony is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster St.
State Sen. Kevin Kelly, R‑21, and State Reps. Jason Perillo, R‑113, and Larry Miller, R‑122 will also be in attendance.
Officials from Naugatuck Savings Bank will award prizes at the ceremony. The contest was for sixth-graders at the Perry Hill School, and the topic was “Important Women in Connecticut’s History and How Their Contributions to the State and Nation Affect Me.”
Winners, runners up, their families, school staff and bank staff are invited to attend the event.
