On 9/9/24 at 6:43 pm the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a fire alarm activated at #10 Controls Drive. There was no fire.
On 9/9/24 at 7:17 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a mutual aid call with Ansonia FD at #1 Main Street in Ansonia.
On 9//9/24 at 8:32 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to motor vehicle accident on Bridgeport Avenue at Beard Saw mill Road.
On 9/9/24 at 8:56 pm the Huntington Co. #3 and the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to motor vehicle accident on Huntington Street.
On 9/9/24 at 11:24 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the White Hills Co. #5 responded to an odor of gas outside #50 Center Street.
On 9/10/24 at 1:18 pm the Huntington Fire Co. #3 responded to a public service call, lock-out at #898 Bridgeport Avenue.
On 9/10/24 at 5:01 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Pine Rock Park Co. #4 responded to an odor of smoke inside #495 River Road.
On 9/10/24 at 5:23 pm the Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 and the Huntington Co. #3 responded to a motor vehicle accident on route 8 south bound between exits 13 and 12.
On 9/10/24 at 5:44 pm the Huntington Co. #3, White Hills Co. #5 and Echo Hose H & L Co. #1 responded to a structure at #16 Whitewood Drive. Upon arrival firefighters the one end in the rear of a single-family home engulfed in fire. Firefighters worked and had the fire under control in about 30 minutes. The fire destroyed a rear attached seasonal room and deck. The remainder of the home sustained smoke, heat, and water damage as well as damage from fire department operations. There were no injuries. The fire left the house uninhabitable and the occupants relocated with relatives. The Pine Rock Park Co. #4 stood by at their station to cover the city during the fire. Shelton Echo Hose EMS also responded. Due to no hydrants in the area tanker trucks from Monroe, Seymour and Trumbull responded to assist.
