SHELTON — Police are looking for a man who allegedly stole a purse from an 82-year-old woman at Planet Pizza Wednesday.
Police said the incident happened about about 4:15 p.m.
“The woman was standing in line when a man snatched the purse and fled in an older model gold Toyota Corolla. The woman was not injured,” according to a police press release. “The man was described as a white male in his late 30s to early 40s, with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair.”
Planet Pizza is at 350 Bridgeport Ave.
A witness to the incident took photographs of the suspect’s vehicle, which are displayed in this post.
“If anyone recognizes the vehicle or has any information regarding this crime they are urged to contact the Shelton Police Department at 203 – 924-1544. All call will be kept confidential,” police said.
