Shelton write-in mayoral candidate Timothy Bristol stopped by the Valley Indy Wednesday for an interview.

During the interview, the Valley Indy asked Bristol questions about a number of topics, including:

- What he thinks the biggest issue facing the city is;

- Fiscal transparency;
- Downtown redevelopment;
- Should City Hall be moved downtown?

- Development citywide;
- His reaction to Mayor Mark Lauretti’s reasons for not participating in a debate;
Bristol lives in Shelton with his wife and is currently studying to be a history teacher. He works part-time at Panera Bread on Bridgeport Avenue.
He is running against 12-term incumbent Mark Lauretti and Democratic nominee Michele Bialek, a downtown business owner.
