Thule Employees Pick Up Trash

Thule employees spent last Friday cleaning up trash from roads and areas that have waterways leading to the Naugatuck and Housatonic rivers.

About 25 employees worked with the Housatonic Valley Association, Seymour’s conservation commission and the Nesteriak Family, which owns property where part of the clean-up took place.

The employees cleaned garbage from Haddad Road, Bladens Brook and the Great Hill Reservoir. They collected about 3,000 lbs of trash, according to Karl Wiedemann, the communications manager for Thule.
