Albert DeLuca Jr., age 61, of Seymour entered eternal rest on October 13th, 2024 at Griffin hospital with his loving family by his side. He is the devoted husband of 39 years to Kathy (Hayden) DeLuca.
Albert was born in Derby on July 26th, 1963 son of the late Albert DeLuca Sr. and Anna (Tyminski) Deluca.
Albert was employed at Sikorsky in the blades department as a machinist for over 40 years. In Albert’s spare time he liked hiking in the woods, cruising in his Yellow 69’ Camaro, exploring the northeast especially Vermont and Cape Cod. He enjoyed being outside and working around his house but most importantly spending time with his loving family.
He is the loving father of Nicholas Deluca and his girlfriend Kayla Jones, Danielle Conte and her husband Sebastion, grandfather of Enzo and Gianna, brother of Julius Deluca. Albert was predeceased by two sisters, Denise Battersby and Debbie DeLuca.
Friends and family may call on Thursday October 17, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home,253 Elizabeth St, Derby. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 18, 2024 at 12:00 pm in Saint Mary’s Church, 212 Elizabeth St. Derby.
