Anthony "Tony" Santoli

Anthony Tony” D. Santoli, age 57, unexpectedly entered eternal rest on December 1, 2024, at his home in Ansonia.

Born in Waterbury on April 30, 1967, he was the son of Gloria Dacenza Santoli of Rotonda West Florida and the late Raymond Santoli. Tony was a graduate of Watertown High School. He was a self-taught piano player who started out playing in a band with his brother Raymond at the young age of five and continued to play in other bands throughout his lifetime. Tony was a devout Catholic and employed as the Director of Music at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for twenty-seven years. His melodious voice and musical talent playing the organ brought a special touch to each Mass at the church. He was also responsible for originating the Folk Mass at Holy Disciples-Saint John the Evangelist Church in Watertown. Tony was known for his expertise in electronics and audiovisual and used that knowledge to help several local churches and businesses.

In addition to his mother Gloria, Tony leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Raymond August of Fort Lauderdale, along with several cousins and the entire Holy Rosary Church Parish family.
