Charlie was a devoted and loving grandfather, always cheering the loudest at his grandchildren’s events and activities.

A lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and UCONN women’s basketball, Charlie also gave back to his community. He served as an alderman on the Board of Aldermen and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the First Congregational Church of Ansonia.

Charlie is survived by his loving daughter, Theresa H. Godfrey (Peter Perri) of Ansonia, and his devoted son, Charles Marrone Jr. of Ansonia.
