Jakub A. Rzepecki

Jakub A. Rzepecki, age 42, entered peaceful rest on February 28, 2023, at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Jakub was born in Opole, Poland on January 2, 1981, son of Henryk and Krystyna Kotlarczyk Rzepecki of Seymour. The world has lost one of its best humans! That is the best way to describe Jakub according to his family and friends. Jake suffered for so long but kept a smile on his face and never lost his sense of self. He was steady, joyful, witty, hopeful, brave, and caring amid all the hardships life threw his way. His courage and remarkable strength should truly be celebrated. Jake enjoyed reading and was an amazing artist who loved to draw. He read comic books and attended numerous comic conventions with his best friends Jesse and Josh. Jake liked Godzilla movies, driving, 80’s music, fig newtons, ghost stories, bike rides and midnight taco runs. He was an avid fan of Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris. Jake was the best friend anyone could have and he will be lovingly missed.

In addition to his parents Henryk and Krystyna, Jakub leaves to cherish his memory, sisters, Alexandra Rzepecki of Waterbury and Natalia Stuart (Mark) of East Haddam, nephews, Dominik, Xavier and, Deavion Jones and nieces, Lillianah and Skyler Jones along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
