Jeffrey Mark Coe, 61, of Seymour, CT, passed away on Dec 6, 2024 after a protracted, courageous health battle. Jeff was born on March 21, 1963 to David and Loreen Coe in Derby, CT. After graduating from Fairfield College Preparatory School in 1981, Jeff earned his Bachelor’s degree at Southern Connecticut State University in 1986. Jeff was a tax accountant on Wall Street during the early part of his career. He was on the subway on his way to the office on 9/11 when the World Trade Center Towers were attacked.
Later, he worked for UPS in a supervisory role in Stratford, a job that he enjoyed, working with friends.
Jeff was a man of simple needs, and he enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved his family, especially his sister, his three nephews, and their families. He rarely missed Sunday dinner with Mom and Dad, and he cherished his close friends, Lou and Tina and their family. Jeff was a life-long New York Yankees fan. A gentle and kind soul; we never saw him angry. His smile could light up a room.
Jeff is survived by his parents, David and Loreen; his sister, Monique Wilson (Mark); and his three nephews, Benjamin, David (Eneida), and Thomas (Lisa), along with four grand-nieces and a grand-nephew.
