Margaret Helen Tanner, a 93 year old widow of Frederick Tanner and resident of Ansonia, passed away at her home on Nov. 12.
She was born Jan. 4, 1931 in Derby, daughter of the late David Alexander and Margaret Jean Boath Alexander. A graduate of Ansonia High School, she was a member of The First Congregational Church in Ansonia and The St. Andrews Society of CT. She worked as an office manager for Custom Homes Inc.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother David Alexander Jr. She leaves three sons Frederick Tanner Jr. (Marion) of Uncasville, CT., James Tanner of Ansonia and Craig Tanner (Donna) of Beacon Falls, her daughter Cheryl Tanner of Thonotosassa, Fl., as well as 8 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 18th at 10:00 a.m. from Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call on Monday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
