Paul R. Lynch

Paul R. Lynch age 83 of Ansonia, passed away peacefully on October 4 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a long illness. 

He was born Sept. 17, 1941 to the late Harold Lynch and Lydia (Compagnon) Lynch in St. Albans, VT. After relocating to Connecticut, Paul graduated from Derby High School. After graduation, Paul enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Paul was immensely proud of his military service. He often recollected stories of his time stationed in Germany. After his service, Paul worked for many years as a manager and training officer at The Salvation Army in New Haven until retiring. 

Paul showed great generosity and devotion to his family, especially his mother, whom he lovingly cared for until her death. Nearly every summer he would travel back to his birth state of Vermont to visit with close friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Clarence Hakey (Stepfather) sisters Jane (Papale) and Margret Lydia Lynch, brothers Peter Lynch (twin) and David Lynch, as well as his niece Lisa (Bowman) and great niece Billie-Lynn. 

He leaves his brother-in-law Dominick Papale Sr., cherished nephew Dominick Papale (Carol) their sons Tyler, Kamrin, Dominick and Nicholas, his nieces Ashley and Kristen and his favorite companion kitty Tiger.” Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11th at 11:00 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Burial follows in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
