Robert M. Branch, age 54, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024, surrounded by friends, family, and loved ones. He was a devoted father, husband, and friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Bob was a loving and hardworking individual, dedicated to providing for his family and ensuring their happiness. He was the proud father of three children, Caroline, Cameron, and Pierce, who were the light of his life. His family was his greatest joy and spent countless hours making memories with them. In addition to being a wonderful father, Bob was a loving partner to his spouse, Angela, with whom he shared many years of happiness. Their bond was one of love, respect, and companionship, and together they built a home filled with laughter and love.
Bob was a valued member of his community. His brothers in the Citizens Engine Company No. 2 knew him as hardworking and determined, always willing to go the extra mile to support those around him. He will be remembered for his integrity, generosity, and fierce loyalty.
Bob spent many years as an instructor for the Valley Fire Chiefs Regional Fire School, specializing in hazardous materials and rescue programs, like rapid intervention team training. Bob was a very active and extremely respected member of the staff.
Though his passing leaves a void that can never be filled, the impact of his kindness and strength will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Angela, his children, Caroline and Pierce, step-children Alyssa Valenti (Cody) and Julia Loverci (Ken Lastra), grand-children Sofia (Wanda) and Amelia (Mavis), his father Robert W. Branch, Jr. and his brother Tim Branch (Amy), nephew Truman, and niece Amanda.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Miller-Macari Family Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (Rte. 67 across from Klarides Village), Seymour from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church 56 South Cliff St., Ansonia on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Citizens Engine Company No. 2, 26 DeForest St. Seymour, CT 06483 an organization close to Bob’s heart. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
