Evelyn Maruca, age 99, of Seymour, passed away peacefully of natural causes on March 25, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Maruca. Evelyn was born in Athens, Alabama, the daughter of the late Elvie and Annie Hargrove Chambers. In addition to her husband, she is also predeceased by her sons Stanley J. Nosal Jr. and Keith Nosal.
She was a devoted grandmother and friend, her heart forever entwined with the flowers she adored and the family she held so dear. Evelyn is survived by her grandchildren Stanley Nosal III of New Jersey, Christine Salois and her husband Marc of Massachusetts, Matthew Nosal of Connecticut, and Michael Nosal, of Connecticut. She also leaves behind five adored great-grandchildren: Nicholas Nosal of New Jersey, Julia Nosal of New Jersey, Renee Salois of Utah, Grant Salois of North Carolina, and Craig Salois of Massachusetts.
Evelyn’s gentle spirit and wisdom touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be private and entrusted to Spinelli – Ricciuti Funeral Home.
