The Lake Housatonic Authority emailed the following information to The Valley Indy:
PUBLIC NOTICE – WEED TREATMENT
Lake Housatonic to be treated with the pesticide Tribune on July 17, 2025. Pesticide will be applied by Solitude Lake Management. Treatment is permitted by the CT DEEP, permit # AQUA-2024-306.
No swimming or other water contact on the day of the treatment, July 17th. Swimming may resume the following day on July 18th. No irrigation from July 17th to July 21st. Irrigation may resume on July 22nd.
