Timothy F. Donovan, age 106, of Shelton entered into rest on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Bishop Wicke.
He was the devoted husband of the late Ruth (Kelly) Donovan. Timothy was born in Haverhill, MA on March 18, 1919 son of the late Timothy and Agnes (Collins) Donovan and was a Shelton resident since 1965.
He was a graduate and the oldest living member of his class at Villanova University. Timothy was an engineer at Mite Corporation in New Haven for many years until his retirement. He was an accomplished artist who received many awards. Timothy was also an avid bowler.
He was survived by his nephews David and Mark Chandonnet, nieces Anne Marie Janeczek and Maureen Trostel, grandchildren Michael Donovan, Jr., Kristin, Katie and Michelle Donovan and daughter-in-law Judy Donovan. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews and great grandchildren.
Timothy was predeceased by his son Michael Joseph Donovan and his sister Agnes C. Chandonnet.
On Tuesday, October 28th, friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton. His entombment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton has been entrusted with his arrangements.
