Ihor Monastyrskyy, age 37, of Shelton entered into rest on December 16, 2025 in Hartford Hospital. He is the devoted husband of Anna Myhalchuk Monastyrska.
He was born in Buchach, Ukraine on June 28, 1988, son of Volodymyr and Oksana Hnativ Monasyrska and came to the United States in 2007. He was devoted to his family and was a kind,hard working and generous person..
He is also survived by one son Artem Monastyrskyy, one brother Ivan Monastyrskyy and his wife Zoriana, two nephews Mark and Maksym.
Friends may call on Tuesday December 23, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton. His parastas service will be held at 7:00 pm in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ukraine.
