Monday, July 6, 2026
1:49 a.m. Police charged a 30-year-old Ansonia man with disorderly conduct on Crescent Street.
3:20 p.m. Police charged a 47-year-old Hartford man with second-degree breach of peace on Main Street.
8:41 p.m. A caller reported an abandoned motor vehicle on Maple Street.
8:45 p.m. Police received a report of disorderly conduct on Woodlawn Avenue.

5:36 a.m. Police were conducting radar enforcement on Maple Street.
8:22 a.m. Police received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from Finney Street Extension.
11:22 a.m. During a traffic stop on Main Street, police issued a citation to a driver for using an electronic device while driving and driving under suspension.
1:13 p.m. Police charged a 32-year-old Ansonia man with two counts of violating his probation. The charges were processed at the police station.
1:19 p.m. Officers were called to Bridge Street for a motor vehicle accident.
2:58 p.m. Police charged a 25-year-old Bridgeport man with second-degree breach of peace and first-degree reckless endangerment. The charges were processed at the police station.
5:03 p.m. Officers were called to Griffin Hospital in Derby to investigate after a man admitted himself with a gunshot wound. The investigation led them to Liberty Street in Ansonia, around where the shooting took place.
11:29 p.m. Police searched a home on Liberty Street after obtaining a warrant in connection to the shooting investigation.

11:25 a.m. Officers carried out search warrants at undisclosed locations.

7:57 p.m. Police deployed a drone to an undisclosed location.
9:32 p.m. Police were called to West Main Street for a report of shoplifting.
