Matthew Wajdowicz, 87, passed away on August 8, 2026 at his home in Westminster, VT. He was born in Derby, CT the son of Stanley and Caroline (Bak) Wajdowicz. He attended schools in Derby, CT. He went on to serve his country in the United States Coast Guard. On June 17, 1983 he married Theresa (Pulaski) who survives.
He was a member of the American Legion in Rocky Hill and St. Michael Church.
He is survived by his wife Theresa and children Mark (Annie) Wajdowicz, Bonnie (Ed) Davis, and Kimberly Sampiere and her fiancé David Trapanese and grandchildren, Zachary, Amber and Laci. He is the last surviving member of his family.
Matthew is predeceased by his parents and first wife Betty Ann.
On Saturday, August 22nd, friends are invited to his graveside service at 11:00 AM at St. Michael Cemetery, 28 Silver Hill Rd., Ansonia.
