ANSONIA — What if one night of music, laughter and memories could also help put food on the table for families during the holidays?
That’s the idea behind an upcoming Jukebox Cabaret fundraiser sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, taking place Saturday, Oct. 10, at Holy Rosary Church Hall, 10 Father Salemi Drive, Ansonia.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.
Money raised from the event will help the Knights of Columbus provide food for families in
need during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
“We want people to have a great night out,” said Jukebox Cabaret’s Dan LaRosa. “But knowing that while we’re having fun, we’re also helping families put food on the table makes the night mean a whole lot more.”
What is Jukebox Cabaret?
The show is a high-energy mix of classic hits, quirky favorites, novelty songs, comedy,
theatrical fun, sing-alongs and audience participation, featuring music from the 1950s through the 1990s.
The group’s philosophy is simple: “Everybody’s in the band!”
Audience members can sit back and enjoy the show, sing along, clap along, get up and
dance—or do a little of everything.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food, snacks and beverages and make a night of it.
Water, ice, coffee and tea will be available.
For $25, guests get an evening of live entertainment while helping support a cause that directly benefits families during some of the most important family holidays of the year.
