The Boys and Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley (Shelton Unit) recently held their annual Awards Dinner for club members on May 5, 2010.
As the Keynote Speaker, Maria Conlon spoke about hard work, dedication and teamwork.
The Boy & Girl of the Year Awards are presented annually to those youth who have been selected by the staff for displaying civic excellence.
The Boy of the Year has been awarded since 1960.
The Girl of the Year award has been presented since 1982.
This year Jade Anderson and VJ Pinero were the recipients of the John J. Ribas Award.
