An Ansonia woman and three men have been charged after cops investigated prostitution allegations in two separate cases.
In a prepared statement, Ansonia Police Lt. Patrick Lynch said the first arrests came Saturday (March 17) after police “investigated a suspicious person, possibly threatening case at 23 Beverly Drive.”
Lynch said 18-year-old Ashley Tucker, who lives at the address, had agreed to have sex with Victor Diaz, a 79-year-old Shelton man, in exchange for money.
However, Lynch said, “once Diaz gave Tucker the money, she fled the residence and Diaz became involved in dispute with two other residents of the home.”
Diaz was charged with patronizing a prostitute and released on a promise to appear at Superior Court in Derby April 2.

Officers found Tucker driving on Main Street in Ansonia and stopped her car, Lynch said, “and during the subsequent motor vehicle stop, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located on Tucker and in the car she was driving.”
Tucker was charged with prostitution, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was held on a $1,500 bond to be arraigned Monday.
After Tucker was brought to court, Lynch said police served her with an arrest warrant charging her with prostitution.
The warrant was obtained by the department’s Anti-Crime Unit “based on numerous suspicious activity complaints involving Tucker and her residence,” Lynch said.
Also arrested in the investigation were two Stamford residents — 40-year-old Dominick Viggiano and 43-year-old Sean Elumba.
Both were each charged with patronizing a prostitute and released on $500 bonds to appear in court April 4 in Derby.

Lynch said Tucker was also charged in an unrelated drug case March 11 after officers stopped her for driving with only one headlight and found drugs and drug paraphernalia in her vehicle.
In that case she was charged with failure to have a head lamp, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia within 1,000 feet of a school, and failure to keep narcotics in a proper container.
Tucker’s home was the site of the arrest in January of two fugitives wanted in a Texas murder case.
She also faces drug possession charges connected to a January motor vehicle stop.
