Fellow Citizen,
I am grateful for all those who voted for me on Tuesday.
I have always considered it a privilege to serve this great City and as I enter my 21st year of service on the Derby Board of Education, I also find myself blessed to have worked side by side with my daughter, Emily Gildea as well as her friends Brooke Uleano, Laney O’Hara and Michael Hyder.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the Derby municipal election was the participation of the students from Derby High School. Regardless of political affiliation or where the students chose to volunteer their time, their activism, enthusiasm, dedication and sense of community truly inspired me this election. I have seen the future and we are in good hands.
Thank you again, I will continue to work hard and strive to justify the support that I have been given.
