As a proud parent of two wonderful children, one that attends Seymour High School and the other a recent graduate, I am very worried about the state of our state.
Like many other parents in the Valley, we are seeing jobs vanish, taxes increase, and college tuition skyrocket. We are lagging well behind almost every state in the country, and our children are deciding to leave for greener pastures.
I want my children to inherit a state that is sustainable and predictable and has job opportunities available for them when they graduate college. For this to happen, I think we need to send common sense people to Hartford like Nicole Klarides-Ditria.
Nicole is the type of person who will roll up her sleeves and make the tough decisions that will move our state in the right direction. Just as she has done as the Seymour High School Football Team Athletic Trainer and Deputy First Selectman of Seymour, she will put our children and families first. Please vote for Nicole Klarides-Ditria on November 8th, she is a true voice for the Valley.
