The Ansonia Coppers 9U team has triumphed in the Northern CT Pop Warner Red Conference Championship game, securing a hard-fought victory against the WaterOak Warriors on Saturday, November 9th at Nolan Field in Ansonia, CT.
The game showcased the determination and outstanding teamwork that have defined the Coppers’ season. Despite being down 12 – 0 at halftime, the Coppers mounted an incredible comeback to clinch the victory. This remarkable turnaround highlighted their resilience, strategic adjustments, and never-give-up attitude.
With this victory, the 9U Ansonia Coppers continue their perfect season, extending their undefeated record to 10 – 0. Their disciplined play, skilled coaching, and the unwavering support of their families and community have propelled them to winning season.
Next, the Coppers will face their biggest challenge yet as they prepare to take on the Seymour Wildcats in the Northern CT Pop Warner Championships on Sunday, November 17th at Watertown High School. The game time is to be determined.
