Ansonia police received 248 calls for service and made six arrests between Nov. 25 and Dec. 1, 2024.

Nov. 25, 2024

4:36 p.m. Police received a report of a stolen license plate on Clifton Avenue.

7:55 p.m. and 8:01 p.m. Police were alerted to two shoplifting incidents, on Pershing Drive and on W. Main Street. Police charged two people with larceny, a 25-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man.

Nov. 26, 2024

5:58 a.m. Police arrested a 44-year-old woman and charged her with larceny and driving with a suspended license on Pershing Drive.

6:29 p.m. Police responded to a report of a burglary on N. State Street. 

Nov. 27, 2024

1:23 a.m. Police received a report of disorderly conduct. A 42-year-old man was arrested on Franklin Street and charged with violating a protective order.

10:22 a.m. Police were alerted to fallen utility wires on Howard Avenue.

Nov. 28, 2024

3:27 a.m. A motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported to police in the area of Wakelee Avenue and Wesley Street.

7:02 a.m. An assault was reported to police on N. Cliff Street. A 22-year-old woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and misdemeanor assault.

Nov. 29, 2024

4:57 a.m. Police responded to a wildlife complaint on Hubbell Avenue.

2:51 p.m. Police executed a search warrant on Eagle Street.

10:36 p.m. Police responded to a report of an assault on Myrtle Avenue. No arrests were made.

Nov. 30, 2024

2:20 p.m. Police received a report of theft from a motor vehicle on Pershing Drive. 

5:54 p.m. Police responded to a call reporting an emotionally distressed person on Beaver Street.

7:02 p.m. Police were alerted to a motor vehicle theft on Wakelee Avenue.

Dec. 1, 2024

5:37 p.m. A caller reported loitering on N. Main Street.

9:51 p.m. Police received a report of a motor vehicle theft on Lester Street.
