Ansonia Public Schools proudly welcomed a distinguished visitor from South Korea as part of a collaborative effort with the Gyeongnam Office of Education (GOE). The esteemed scholar, Hyun Young Noh, an administrator from GOE, embarked on a research journey to explore the intricacies of the American Education System.
Facilitated by ACES International, the visit marked a significant milestone in cultural and educational exchange between South Korea and the United States. Ansonia Public Schools feels honored to have been selected as a destination for this insightful research endeavor.
During her six-day stay from March 18th to 22nd and March 26th, Hyun immersed herself in the Ansonia community, spending a day in each of the district’s schools. Her itinerary also included engaging sessions with faculty and students, offering valuable insights into the district’s educational practices.
Dr. Joseph DiBacco, Superintendent of Ansonia Public Schools, expressed enthusiasm about the opportunity, stating, “We are thrilled to host Hyun Young Noh and provide her with an in-depth look at our district’s innovative approaches to education. This visit not only strengthens international ties but also underscores Ansonia’s commitment to excellence in education.”
