The results remain the same in Ansonia after a recount Monday in the Ward 5 Aldermen race.
The recount reaffirms the election of Democrats Spero Jordanides and Pasquale Pietrangelo.
The recount was state mandated because Republican candidate Joan Radin lost by just 10 votes.
The Ansonia Registrar of Voters started the recount in Aldermanic Chamber at 5:30 p.m. and finished at 6:40 p.m.
Democratic Registrar of Voters John Erlingheuser gave the following results:
Pasquale Pietrangel (D): 255 votes
Spero Jordanides (D): 228 votes
Joan Radin ®: 218 votes
