The Planning and Zoning Commission Monday rejected a controversial subdivision proposed for Castle Lane, citing concerns for public health and safety, according to the New Haven Register.
Developer Mark Romano wanted to subdivide 14 acres so he could build 23 single-family homes there.
Romano, through his attorney, said he would appeal the decision, the Register reports.
