Ansonia Renaissance Faire Needs Volunteers, Actors

MFRENFAIRE.COMThe Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire is celebrating its fifth year in operation, and it is once again time to find a top-tier cast and crew.

The faire, which will operate on weekends from June 20 to July 5, will be interviewing interested volunteers and auditioning performers on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 8 from 1 to 7 p.m. at St. Joseph Church, 32 Jewett St.

To volunteer to be part of the faire, but not perform as a character or directly interact with patrons, you are more than welcome. Please come and meet with organizers for a few minutes to chat about how you can be a part of our faire family.

Handy folks, friendly folks and all types of new friends are welcome. Please bring a form of ID.

Those looking to audition as scripted or unscripted cast should be
prepared with: 

  • A monologue to perform (1 minute max)
  • A short song, if interested in joining The Voices of Anleigh singing group
  • A Form of Identification
  • If you have a resume and headshot, please provide (But Not Required)

Please come and join the Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire Family. It’s a lot of fun, great stage experience for both behind the scenes and in front of the public, as well as great work experience for older teens (17+ with parent’s permission).
