The City of Ansonia is asking residents to take a survey as part of an update to the city’s Plan of Conservation and Development.
Click here to take the survey.
The city’s Planning and Zoning Commission is also holding a workshop on the plan in City Hall Monday (Jan. 22) at 6 p.m.
According to the survey, the Plan of Conservation and Deveolpment is for:
- Guiding the community’s physical and economic future and establishing the framework for how the community wants to grow.
- Identifying key issues facing the City.
- Reflecting a “vision” of what the community should look like in the future and how to achieve that vision.
- Stating policies, goals and standards which will guide the work of attaining that vision over the next ten (10) years.
In a Facebook post Jan. 17, the city said residents can be notified of future meetings regarding the plan by reaching out to City Planner David Elder at delder@ansoniact.org.
